dc.description.abstractThe education has fundamental place in a person’s formation. This way, the schools, proprietary principally, prepare a pedagogical proposal that fits in your goals, which many times directs a recurrence competitiveness to atract students. From this point, this work discusses the relationship between pedagogical proposal and communication of proprietary schools in Santa Maria, RS, poiting evidences of competitiveness. For the construction of this research, it was necessary to conduct interviews with representatives of five proprietary schools in the city, besides the collect of communication materials. Thus, we chose the approach of discourse analysis perspective of Fiorin (2014), in order to identify the semantic devices present in the discourse of interviews and communication of schools, which refer to the competitiveness.
