dc.description.abstractThis study presents a theoretical reflection about the contributions of Taekwondo in school to the educational process of children who are in the early years of elementary school. To achieve this goal was achieved a literature research, making use of books, monographs, articles and legislation on the subject. Through reading and authors dialog and studies on the subject in question, examined if the benefits of Taekwondo for children , especially with educational potential in motor development aspects , cognitive and affective . It also appeared , through research , that Taekwondo , understood about the bias of educational sport, presents characteristics of participation , integration and socialization , which are importants for the full development of human .
