| dc.description.abstract | The present study was made in the School Maria Isaíra corte Tavares, in Lagoa Bonita do Sul Town, with the aim to implant the hydroponic cultivation, to lettuces' production fed for water picked up in cistern, over promote the embellishment of the scholar yard, practicing environmental education. In the school there was a cistern without use, there wasn't market garden and few ornamental plants in the yard. Thus, the hydroponic market garden and the cultivation of flowers to embellish the scholar yard, make possible make an environmental group to continue the project, in view that was a method to stimulate the work in group, over develop one sense of responsability in what is related to make part of the environment where they are inserted becoming most agreeadable, having as a tool the environmental education. The works
were conducted in the period of 2013 september to november, involving twenty five students from 2nd, 3st and 4th year of the fundamental teaching, wich made the environmental group “Seed of Tomorrow”. Contributed yet with the project parents, instructors, employee of the school, Secretaries of Education, Agriculture, ASCAR/EMATER from Lagoa Bonita do Sul and ASCAR/EMATER from Lagoão. The introduction of these practices in the school was a manner to waken the conscience of the scholar community for the reuse of the hydric resources, having in view the possible risk of shortage, stimulating the search of alternatives to the solution of such questions. | |
