dc.description.abstractThis article discusses the use of conceptual maps in the classroom in early years and seeks to report one of the ways how this new teaching tools can be used in the various disciplines of the early years, providing a range of new perspectives to innovate learning strategy. The purpose of this paper is to insert in the school context the conceptual maps through the application of ICTs, to occur a significant learning and a better determination of the contents of the disciplines, as an innovative way of working in elementary school. This survey was conducted at the Escola Municipal de ensino fundamental Augusto Vitor Costa, located in Caçapava do Sul, R/S and the population searched was composed of twenty-one students of the 5th Year of elementary school, aged around ten years. The population was part of the search has participatory character, demonstrating curiosity and involvement in the activities of classroom where the author teaches. Practical experience of this work has provided students entering ace new technologies through a educational software that provided a good development in relation to conceptual maps built with the use of ICTs.
