Resumen
Despite the advances in the last decade through the actions of
tuberculosis control, this remains an endemic problem in Brazil. Our country
occupies the 17th position among the 22 countries with the highest reported
incidence of tuberculosis. This worrying scenario extolled our scientific interest,
particularly in the sense of understanding how literature reviews and assesses
the route care of patients with tuberculosis in health services. In this direction,
we opted for exploratory research, focusing on specialized scientific literature
review. The references surveyed about tuberculosis were collected from
MEDLINE, SciELO and Virtual Health Library Bireme. We also examined
studies that investigated the impact and treatment of tuberculosis control in the
health sector. The result of the research that has been allowed to understand
the current analyzes the gradual improvement in the quality of diagnosis to
treatment. The literature suggests that this is due to the strong presence of
investment in training and human resource management processes, attention
and care in the health services. These factors appear associated in the
literature as responsible for positively impacting the epidemiology of
tuberculosis control and humanization of patients towards health recovery in its
path in health services. The literature also indicated that coordinated actions
should be promoted, especially connecting health actions and social actions. It
is to share our "finds" with other researchers who present this article.
