dc.description.abstractThis paper aims to investigate the role of print media in the process of literacy in the first three years of primary school, because it is an ongoing process where the teacher plays the role of mediator, being of great importance to make use of different tools such as aid instrument. Therefore a survey was conducted of print media most used in the classroom and its role in the literacy process, which was ratified that it is considered one of the largest sources of information, knowledge and tool to support both the planning of teachers as in the construction of knowledge, because it includes a variety of genres contributing to a situated learning, encourage students to reflect and relate acquired knowledge to their daily lives.
