This article aims to present a study on intersubjective relations between knowledge and practice, for the Central East region of Santa Maria (RS), covered by the Psychosocial Care Center - Alcohol and Drugs (PCCs - AD) and a Family Health Strategy team (FHS). We problematized the region as a susceptible territory to give a chance to health production. For this - in the territory mapping perspective - we sought to identify the power of meetings (Freire, 1972) between the subjects as a mean to promote actions aimed at comprehensive care of those assisted by FHS. According to Freire, the meetings stimulate autonomy and empowerment of the individuals, taking the disease out of its prominent place and then starting to deal with - as claimed by the Shared and Enlarged Clinic - whatever health people would have. The study adopted the Fieldwork Methodology with participant observation, being qualitative in character, based on the mapping method proposed by Deleuze and Guattari (1992). Data collection was done through field diaries, containing all the notes resulting from contact with the subjects done through formal conversation circles and other spaces that were experienced in field. Data were analyzed according to the based-upon theory (Gibbs, 2009).The relevance of this study will be given by the importance that the subjects involved in the territory health, promote expanded forms of care, corroborating to comprehensive health and in line with the prerogatives with the Social and Health System modifications. The meeting has become a tool that helped fostering practices based on dialogue, the forthcoming of different types of knowledge, and especially the Community Agent work sharing, which performs the strengthening of actions in the service scope, as the outlook that the community would make part of itself in favor of its health.
