Humanização como prática multiprofissional: a percepção dos familiares sobre as ações no cuidado em uma unidade de terapia intensiva

Multiprofessional care aiming to the integrality of care is a practice foreseen in the assistance actions, being indispensable the orientation according to the National Humanization Policy. The objective of this study is to discuss the actions foreseen in this policy according to the perceptions of the relatives of patients hospitalized in the Intensive Care Unit about the care given by the assistant team. A study with a qualitative approach, of exploratory-type, was carried out with 12 family members from July to August 2017. The data collection technique was the semi-structured interview, being analyzed through content analysis. From this, the following categories emerged: Bond as an important practice in care; reception: proximity to the assistant team, therapeutic follow-up by the multiprofessional team and organizational structure and integral assistance. The humanized practice, as a guideline for care, needs to be extended to the care of the family, being each case considered according to its history and peculiarities.
