dc.description.abstractIn the present work we obtain the general form for the anomalous stress-energy tensor for static black holes with spherical symmetry, for the three quantum vacuum states of interest in black holes physics. The particular cases of Schwarzschild and Reissner-Nordström black holes are then analyzed, for which we determine the explicit values of the stress-energy tensor by comparison of our general solution to the results of the quantum field theory.
