This paper addresses the implementation of the National School Feeding Programme (PNAE) in the municipality of Camargo-RS. With the approval of the Federal Law on School Food (Law No. 11.947/09), an important precedent was opened in Buying relations undertaken by public institutions and aid Emater and the Rural Workers Union farmers are in the process of adaptation to the demands the Program. In 1998 the marketing of foodstuffs to the School Institutions was started so all students attending the city through the family farm. In 2014 with the sale of the family farm was 34,28% of total assets, a percentage that can be expanded with the membership and interests of producers over the program expanding diversification of food available to students. The use of local, fresh and healthier school food in foodstuffs become more tasty and nutritious school lunches. Data were collected and analyzed from the interviews. Difficulties and potential accession to the farmers PNAE are presented, as well as raising some suggestions for improving the program. Realize the perspectives and interests of farmers and managers in relation to the expansion of the National School Feeding Programme in the municipality of Camargo-RS.
