This monograph has as its theme the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) as a collective construction, trying to understand and characterize the importance of democratic school management which, in essence, is organized in the educational work done in school. In this way, the objective was to understand the importance of democratic school management at the planning, (re) construction and implementation of Political Pedagogical Project. This was a qualitative study involving literature search, as well as a case study, which delimited object as the process of rebuilding the PPP of a public school in the city of Santa Maria - RS. The investigative context of literature search was conducted through reading, selection and analysis of theoretical assumptions on the subject in books and scientific journals. The case study, however, data were collected through questionnaires applied to each specific segment of the school community (students, parents, faculty and staff) and that sampling was 5 subjects per segment as well as an interview with the current responsible for school management (director). Those data collection instruments directed to seek elements for understanding and analyzing the experience of (re) construction of PPP experienced by the school in the previous year. From this research, we can note that there was a significant participation of the school community at the process of (re) construction of the PPP and there is the engagement of everyone for the common good of the school, demonstrating the principles of democratic management, what is the participation and autonomy in decisions pedagogical, administrative and financial.
