A contribuição de planos de manutenção em um laboratório de instituição de ensino superior pública

Abstract

The reliability lack of a measurement system can generate errors that directly influence the activities and decisions of an organization. In some cases, this reliability lack may be linked to problems in procedures or even measuring instruments no maintenancee. The objective of this study was to evaluate the contribution of maintenance plans for laboratories measuring instruments in a Public University (PU). To accomplish this objective we performed a survey about maintenance scenario in laboratories of these Public University and we implemented in a laboratory of these University maintenance plans that was elaborated from Reliability Centered Maintenance (MCC). The results generated by the implementation of the plan, as well as the factors that made it difficult to perform, were discussed and compared to the maintenance plan previously used by the laboratory.
