This research aims to deepen on the relavance of editorial paratextual elements on printed classics, as well as provide a reflection of the use of these in the search for different audiences, addressing various concepts about the Brazilian publishing market, as well as its historical context. For an effective immersion on the topic, the printed book production process and its traditional features were shown, conceptualizing key elements in an attempt to make the search liable of comprehension for future readers. Based on the studied concepts, the analysis of five editions of the book "Dracula" by Bram Stoker was performed, highlighting their characteristics, comparing and pointing additions, deletions and the layout of editorial paratexts. The study of different editions of the same work carried out by different publishers reveals that the editorial paratexts are essential in the production of a book, enabling the construction of new meanings and scope of new readers, contextualizing the demands of each era and favouring access of new generations to a work considered a classic.
