dc.description.abstractThis article talks about how social networks can be used in the process of teaching and learning of students. This paper presents the concepts of educomunication and the tools proposed to be discussed, Twitter and Facebook. The qualitative research had used a questionnaire through the social network, intended to teachers about the social network contributions based on experiences the students, under the educational perspective.We conclude that the utilization of this tools should be stimulated and enhanced by the educational system.However, the skills related to the use of these tools should be expanded in the field of communication and education in the management of information technology. The proposed pedagogical work in the classroom shows the feasibility of using this resource as a teaching methodology.
