Satisfação e motivação dos servidores da autarquia CAPASEMU

The motivation and satisfaction are important factors that lead the employers to develop their
activities with commitment, enthusiasm and efficiency, ensuring good attendance and
contributing to the proper functioning and success of the organization. This article had as
main objective to analyze aspects related to the motivation and satisfaction of CAPASEMU’s
staff. Were approached important concepts for the understanding of what represents the
question of motivation and how it can be an extraordinary tool of management and
transformation in organizational culture. The methodology is exploratory-descriptive and the
research have a quantitative character. At the ending of the evaluation it was found that the
questions that had better assessment relating to the motivating factors were: realization,
professional and personal satisfaction, freedom to express opinions at work, responsibility for
the work produced and participation in decisions of the sector. In regard of the hygiene factor,
stands out the personal relationships with the management and personal relationships with
colleagues. For data interpretation was adopted, basically, Herzberg’s model of Two factors.
