dc.description.abstractThis paper discusses the contribution that educational games have been doing in learning. Mediators used as teaching tools where students contextualize their social environment, and their knowledge about technology associated with themes seen in the classroom. With the revolution in the means of interaction, educational games have in your configuration essentials to draw students' interest; Stimuli generated by them facilitate the construction of knowledge, because the collective actions motivate attention and logical reasoning, essential factors in studies of mathematics. The text also describes the application of games in a class of 5th year of elementary school, bringing in its descriptive methodology, observation of student behavior before games in a pedagogical perspective. The problems and difficulties are also arranged throughout the research, because social realities differ, reflecting the results.
