O uso da memória como meio de preservação da história e da cultura social

Abstract

Memory can be both individual and collective, but at any given time both intertwine towards social construction. The loss of social memory may represent the end of the identity of a society. In order to avoid this, it is necessary to rescue the memory of social groups, awakening in people a sense that is an active subject in their social environment. In order to achieve the objectives of this study was first conducted a literature search and subsequent research in journals, monographs and essays featuring the theme memory and its relationship with social equity as a way to preserve the memory. What can you tell us about the students of the Youth and Adult Education: a case study, which started from the analysis of a Final Work Undergraduate entitled, MEMORY AND PHOTOGRAPHY was also for the illustration of the research conducted? To finish this work, come to the conclusion that is based on the relationship that the subject creates the context in which it lives, it will be possible to rescue and preserve the memory, both individual and collective. For it is through the meanings that are created by the individual who will be the entanglement between the two memories, thereby contributing to the social construction and preservation.
