dc.description.abstractThis research aims to broach the subject of "Democratic Autonomy and Management: Paths to the enhancement of public school" because it is understood that it is of great importance for all educators and society, seeking to answer the following questions: what is the role of the Political Pedagogical Project in construction of autonomy and in the practice of democratic management school according to parents, students, teachers and directors? From these questions it is aimed to know what the school community thinks about autonomy, democratic management and the value of education. Specifically, it was also sought to determine the influence of the Pedagogical Political Project in the process of construction of autonomy and democratic management, as well as analyze how is the participation of stakeholders involved in the structuring of the value of educational work. Moreover, it was also proposed to identify which practices of democratic management are effective in the school environment. The methodological procedures used were field survey through the case study of the Military Public School of Palmas, where questionnaires were used to collect data to explain the broached issues. It is expected that this study be relevant to every society.
