This study presents the scenario of continuing health education, seeking to emphasize its importance and also the challenges that are encountered by the actors within the Regional Center for Education in Public Health (NURESC). Aims to know the reality of these nuclei and investigate the actions of continuing education that are offered by them and verify that these devices through continuing education serves as support to health management. For the procedure for exploratory research a semistructured research that has been applied to seven professionals involved in different NURESC Health Coordination in the State of Rio Grande do Sul was held Data express that the actions are proposed for continuing education for professionals municipalities and that these areas are being expanded. It was possible to know the context of action of NURESC's where we observed the development of actions to raise awareness of the practices of this policy can also be extended to municipalities through the creation and strengthening of NUMESC (Municipal Center for Health Education Coletica) allowing an approximation of health workers with this proposal. From the foregoing, one can identify the NURESC shows a device management support, since it is embedded in discussions and action planning and health management, showing itself as an important element for building a model health facing the humanized care.
