This article discusses the use of ICT in special education as a means of facilitating access to knowledge, expanding opportunities for PNEEs, adapting the content, considering the reality of the student. Does the reporting of resource utilization EdiLim, an editor of activity that is part of Lim (environment where they can create educational materials) in the development and implementation of learning object "Vowels and animals" for students with intellectual disabilities. It is a feature that provides a pleasant, easy handling and operation for students, with the possibility of creating activities in a simple manner. We selected some of the different activities that are used to perform in the classroom, providing opportunities for interfaces with images of the students' experiential environments, interesting, stimulating thought and encouraging the cognitive acquisition. To develop and apply the learning object was found how important it is to know the reality of students with intellectual disabilities. Having knowledge of reality, the teacher must start from these experiences to propose meaningful learning situations that encourage the development of diverse skills.
