This monograph presents the development of a collection of scarves with prints inspired
morphological aesthetics of seashells found on the Brazilian coast. It was intended
thereby to contribute to the creative process of designing surface patterns inspired by
natural elements designer. First we sought to study the Surface Design, its history, its
fundamentals and applications. After this bibliographic held a brief historical overview
of the textile printing and its processes and techniques, and highlighted by digital
printing, print option used in the project. Then, we have studied the nature and
Stamping Inspiration in Textile, in which we sought to clarify and exemplify the use of
natural elements in the crack. The natural model adopted as inspiration, seashells from
the beaches of Brazil, was also investigated and was selected some for use in the creative
process. After all previous surveys was possible to begin the process of creating prints ,
where all details about each collection were seen, as well as the generation and selection
of alternatives. Thus this research sought to suggest and contribute to the study of
nature as a source of inspiration for the design of textile surface, presenting a collection
of scarves, proposing a reflection and serving as a resource for other new possibilities.
