This article aims to present the use of animated cartoons in the classroom. To this it was done investigation based on experts studies, available on web sites, through sources consulted about Textual Genre studies in the classroom. The class works in the School Hall Elementary School Santos Dumont, in the city of Agudo, RS. The performance of the article comprehends not so reading and searches, but also activity with participate students, besides the observation by the author. The students, after being presented with different text genres (including the Charge) shall be instructed to observe and interpret a particular Animated Charge answering some orally some questions. During the classes and the interview I watch that students who make use of Information Technologies (ICT) have more acceptance and understanding of the proposed activities, so the Internet becomes an indispensable medium, contributing to great effect, easing the difficulties of learning. The use of Information Technology contributes to the formation of a student more participatory, investigative, independent and interested in the teaching-learning process. The focus of this paper is to discuss the importance of ICT intellectual development of students.
