Produções científicas relacionadas aos riscos ocupacionais no centro cirúrgico: revisão integrativa

Abstract

The study aimed to identify the trend of the national scientific production about the work conditions and the risk factors for the professional who act at the Surgical Center. It is an integrative literature review, using the Electronic Health Library, refined by the data Scientific Electronic Library Online, Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature and Nursing Database, from 2008 to 2013. They were used the following descriptors: “ nosocomial surgical center” , “ nursing team”, “work conditions”. From the 753 articles found, they were preselected 34 and only 14 were included in the review. The discussion of the results found, happens since the the formulation of two axes named: Context related to the environment and the work conditions versus the risk factors for the professionals who act at the Surgical Center and the Context of the surgical patient and the Nursing professional. The publications concerning the thematic revealed the importance of knowing the work risks which the professionals are exposed to, which derive from the conditions inherent to the environment or the work process that interferes with the health well being and the safety of the worker. This way, it is necessary higher development of reseaches involving the theme, spreading better information on the protection measures regarding safety and health of those who work for the health services.
