Foliaceus pemphigus is an auto-immune disease where antibodies are applied against the epidermis components causing acantólise besides forming vesicles under the corneous extract. The pemphigus complex includes folicaceus pemphigus, common pemphigus, vegetating pemphigus, erythematic pemphigus and blistered pemphigoide hidden by the hairs besides being brittle and easily breakable. The disease often begins in the nose, around the eyes and the auricular ward before getting widespread. It is not usual to occur in dogs and cats the involvement of the mucous or mucocutaneous areas. In cats is relatively common besides auricular and facial wounds the paws and nipples attack leading to cases of onicodistrophy and paronychia. The bases for the diagnosis are the history, physic examination and histopathological exam of the biopsy samples, which also exclude almost all the other distinguishing diagnoses. The therapy of feline leaf Pemphigus includes the systemic corticoids application as well as immune-modulators. The therapy is often difficult requiring high amounts of systemic glico-corticoids with or without other immunemodulators drugs. The prognostic changes according to the illness seriousness and form but without treatment it may be fatal. The current report describes a leaf Pênfigos’s case in a cat and the respective treatment.
