Feições geológicas-geomorfológicas nas nascentes do Rio Ibicuí-Mirim como subsídios para trabalhos de educação ambiental

Abstract

This work presents an analysis and description of the geologic-geomorphologic forms of the area of influences of the Val de Serra/RS dams for works of environmental education. The study area understands the portion of the Hidrographic Basin of Ibicui-Mirim river, with a areal surface of 8.509ha. One meets in the phisiografic portion of the State, Planalto Sul-Riograndense, being composed geological for the Serra Geral Formation, where we find vulcanics rocks, still the intertrapic sandstone presence. This geology was conferred in the work from the description of a carried through geologic profile. In studing of the relief, was possible to establish four landforms: being hills, morrotes, areas lowered in hill top and valleys; five geologicgeomorphologic forms, as waterfalls, outcrop of rock, ravines and gully, deposits of coluvios and healwater, and two antropic forms, being reservoir and modifying a river systems. To facilitate the understanding of the superficial forms, a map with the representation of the same ones was carried through.
