dc.description.abstract | This study discusses the mandatory teaching of music established by Law No.
11.769/08 from listening to the educational management of public services in the city of Não-Me-Toque/RS. To this end, we performed a case study in order to analyze the local context what are the implications of this requirement on the curriculum of schools of this type of school. Field surveys, document analysis and semi-structured interviews indicated that basically were also held , that the municipality is performing the inclusion of music based action on two fronts : the first aimed at the training of teachers , and the second , the establishment of extracurricular projects organizing Martial Band, children's choirs , musical instruments and others with the same students in these schools , working with projects . The surveys were conducted in SMECD Municipal Secretariat for Education, Culture and Sport,
with the municipal secretary of education, with two music teachers responsible for implementing these projects and the policy part of a public school, a state and a particular of our municipality. The data analysis was performed by coordinating with the studies of the subject, particularly from studies conducted during the Course of Specialization in Educational Management offered by the Federal University of Santa Maria, the Pole of Uncle Hugo - RS the modality of distance education, emphasizing its importance in both the municipal and institutional framework to promote strategies to promote effective integration of music in schools in the context of basic education. | |
