This article discusses the role of Philosophy Teaching for the development of critical conscience. Relying on theories of Philosophers such as Plato, Henri Bergson, Martha Nussbaum, Ricardo Timm, among others. The main object of this investigation is the deconstruction of the obvious, as an attitude of reflection before discourses, which in practice do not materialize, that is, the false impressions of familiarity and mastery over certain themes. The overcoming of some dogmas or daily vices would reflect externally for the individual and for everyone around them, raising Education to another level, focused on knowledge and at the same time closer to Paideia's goals, that is, a project of humanization.
