Prenatal care deserves attention in health care in the pregnancy-puerperal cycle, and its quality is related to the provision of physical resources and the development of management and care actions. It is essential that quality health care be guided by public health policies and be qualified based on criteria, standards and indicators that make up this practice. Therefore, this study aimed to evaluate the prenatal quality of habitual risk through the indicators of structure and process. This is a quantitative epidemiological descriptive cross-sectional observational study that followed Donabedian's theoretical framework. Data collection was done through the use of a questionnaire called IPR-PRENATAL in 13 Family Health Strategies, from September to October 2017. It was evidenced that, in general, the infrastructure was considered adequate. In the variable work process, 92.3% of pregnant women attended at least six prenatal visits and one in the puerperium, 69.2% completed the first prenatal visit in the first trimester of pregnancy, 53.8% professionals identify whether the first consultation was after the fourth month of gestation and that 61.5% of the services performed groups with adolescents on sexuality and groups of pregnant women. It is concluded that the Family Health Strategies are structurally satisfactory with regard to the supply of permanent equipment and medicines and supplements in prenatal care. Regarding the work process, it is necessary to invest in the increase of the indicators in relation to information management on the first prenatal visit to be performed in the first trimester of gestation, the control if the first consultation was performed after the fourth month of gestation, and such as the use of light technologies to qualify this care.
