dc.description.abstractThis article presents the relationship of television media with Early Childhood Education and its influences on children's learning. To do this, it uses bibliographical research as a guide to find articles that deal with the theme and serve as an analysis material. The studies present the Information and Communication Technologies, among them the television media, as effective resources in the infantile learning; also bring aspects of this same media that reproduces violence, provokes alienation and hypnotism to the viewers. The analysis allows us to say that the influences of the television media in the learning point to the need to expand in the school the studies on the media and education; considers the adult as the main mediator of the new discoveries through the television media.
