Um olhar sobre o sistema prisional gaúcho: ressocialização ineficaz e reincidência

Abstract

This study aims to survey some of the originators or hateful factors of the current situation in the prison system gaucho, having as epicentre the Central Jail of Porto Alegre (CJPA).From the observation of these factors in the CJPA, which are: overcrowding, poor infrastructure, inadequate medical and psychological care, insufficient professional training, it is can delineate the current prison system gaucho, because this is a comment in the biggest and most important jail of the state in light of theories that explain the chaos of the prison system brazilian and gaucho, which are still based on this work by statistical data. In addition, the present study revealed the recurrence prison with the failure of the State in do not to achieve the objective of Law of Criminal Execution, which is the resocialization of condemned, pointing so the recurrence as negative consequence of the originators or hateful factors of the chaos of prison system gaucho.
