dc.description.abstractThis monograph was titled the school supervisor as an articulator of the educational process. Within this theme, it sought to: What is the role of the school supervisor with the management team and teachers to improve the quality of teaching and students' learning process? And as a general goal: Identify how is the relationship of the school supervisor with the other members of the management team, teachers, students seeking to improve the quality of teaching-learning process, based on a conception of democratic management. As for the specific objectives sought to investigate how, and if it happens, the joint school supervisor to pedagogical processes aimed at improving the quality of teaching-learning process and ultimately determine how elaborate the proposed work of school supervisors in accordance with the educational institution in which it works. The methodology developed field research and literature, using questionnaires with 3 school supervisors from different schools in Santa Cruz do Sul / RS. The results showed that the function of the supervisor is not only something bureaucratic, because she is linked directly to the teaching-learning process. However, the reality in schools is worrisome because supervisors are failing to do their jobs properly and enthusiastically. Therefore, it is concluded that school supervision plays a key role in the school, so these professionals should always seek innovation, be a link between the different school sectors to make a collective effort, aimed at educational success at school.
