The purpose of this study is to show the role that People Management has in Public Health Organizations and that, despite numerous differences between public and private organizations, it is possible to reconcile the well-being of its employees, motivation and emotional exhaustion with a humane and pleasant environment that values compliance with the legal requirements imposed by legislation and syndicates, prioritizing medical and social ethics.
After numerous researches on people management in hospitals, it was possible to see that managers began to understand that today's hospitals are no longer just a place where sick people are treated but rather a place that can offer health and well-being to their clients / patients and their collaborators.
Thus, it is possible to perceive that uniting these two forces with balance can only do well to the organization and the people that live daily with them, bringing positive results for both internal and external public.
