dc.description.abstractThe present study aims to present the conceptions of women beneficiaries of Bolsa Familia and users of the Family Health Strategy, health promotion and what actions to promote health they perceive as necessary for the production of quality of life. This study is part of a project umbrella. It is part of a work for approximately two years of health professionals through the Multidisciplinary Residency Program in Integrated Public Health System, Federal University of Santa Maria, in the concentration area of Primary Care/Family Health Strategy. We conducted a qualitative study with descriptive, exploratory, cross-sectional design. To collect data, we used individual forms as well as participant observation. Concerning women interviewed, it is highlighted that the majority was married or had companion, beyond the fact that elementary school was uncompleted. The women were favoring the intersectionality. The results indicate that health promotion is perceived as "having a good health care", which involves issues of professional relationship - user. In relation to the actions of health promotion, women have different approaches, showing that qualify for our health actions need to be coordinated with the users.
