This paper discusses the representation of homosexuality in the school environment, reflecting on how it occurs in the short film Eu não quero voltar sozinho, directed by Daniel Ribeiro. The study aims to investigate how the characters indicate the discovery of homosexuality in adolescence, background for discussions of sexuality and visual impairment. So that we could carry out this research, we are supported by Queer Theory and studies on relations between Cinema and Society. We proposed in this study a methodology based on film analysis of the short film, from the description and interpretation of the formal, esthetic and narrative resources. The results show that despite the lack of interest of teachers by the particularities of the students, the school homogenizer policy failure in the contact with the different that is inevitable, marked by characters who naturalize homosexual relations, with love as the main point through a narrative that permeates not profane or wrong so queer.
