Reterritorialização das famílias assentadas em Pinheiro Machado e seus reflexos na matriz produtiva

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of agrarian reform settlements on territory. The analysis is conducted from the case of settlements of Pinheiro Machado, RS and cover the social and productive characterization of the Metade Sul of the RS (from bibliographic revision), of the municipio (from IBGE data) and of settlements in the municipality (from SIGRA data). The research shows that the formation of this settlements was related to experimentation with crops and livestocks and various market strategies integration. There is tendency to adaptation of families to the regional context, featuring reterritorialization with commitment of settlements influences in terms of productive matrix diversification.
