dc.description.abstractThis paper aims to bring some reflections on the role of the supervisor in school literacy practices and literacy in school and the importance of this professional action with teachers and their training, proposing alternatives, discussions and arguments entwined with the pedagogical in search the effectiveness of reading and writing in the early years. To establish an approximation of theoretical discourse with the reality of school, a questionnaire was designed, it was delivered, approximately twenty professionals working in the Municipal Esteio. The work of supervision in school literacy practices and literacy within a partnership approach, as suggested by a democratic management, will require a more unified school management.
