dc.description.abstract | The integration of media resources, inside the school context, is a practice increasingly present because of both the technological advances and the facility to access information, which arouse interest in teachers and students. In this way, the inclusion of videos and movies, in the classroom, is a tool that aims to sensitize and to awake students to certain themes and also to complement the study and to form ideas related to the reality. In this context, it has been investigated the perception of the use of videos by teachers of the final school years of the Marieta D’Ambrósio Elementary School in Santa Maria – RS, in their classes, in order to propose an awakening of reflection regarding the inclusion of this audio visual resource. Thus it has been applied a questionnaire to teachers of the final school years and then the collected data were systematized and analysed. It has been found that the biggest part of teachers searched have in mind the potential of the video as a media resource, even though they do not use it often, because to integrate this kind of tool it is necessary a longer time and a bigger interest from the teachers to plan its activities. That videos, in the educational context, develop learning, creativity, enable the organization of information so that the construction of knowledge could show a greater sense into the students. | |
