Resumen
This paper examines community participation in school management in the
State School of Basic Education in Sapucaia do Sul and what factors that promote
such integration, as well as the influences of such participation to the school. It also
seeks to demonstrate that community participation in school management is
essential to gain improvements to school, build a school environment that contributes
to the formation of creative individuals, and constructive participants and achieve a
quality education in all aspects of the process. To conduct this study was applied
questionnaire to students of school, in conversation with teachers and functionaries
about the presence of the comunity in the school enviroment and observed of
physical structure and human as well as income and interest of students in the
learning process. To support the work were reviewed several authors specialized in
subject matter, as Vitor Paro, Paulo Freire, Isabel Parolin, among others. Before the
study, noted the importance of effective community participation in all aspects of the
school and the certainty that the families need to be involved in the learning process
of the sons and that the school need to worry with strategies and alternatives
proposals that encourage the participation of the fathers.
