Resumen
It is presented in this work, a survey of teachers and management team of a public
school in the Municipal Education Network of Passo Fundo, RS, aiming to analyze and
identify existing conceptions about the processes of continuing education of teachers
conducted in the school. The analysis in this context it is relevant in that it seeks to understand
the attitude of teachers and managers faced with the continuing education of teachers within
the school held to qualify the processes of teaching and learning. It is taken for granted the
importance of continuous training of teachers for the space-time school and organization
made by management along with the teachers of the school. Project Political Pedagogical also
important to ensure building moments participating and reflection on practices pedagogical
performed in institution. The methodology used was characterized by a qualitative approach,
with features of a case study through semi-structured interview conducted with two managers
and five teachers. It was evident that managers and teachers believe in continuing education
conducted within the school as a real possibility of improving teaching and student learning,
considering the specific context in which the school is located. There is great interest in
innovation and change practices of continuing education within the school, they still feel
distant from the reality of the institution's proposals for continuing education of teachers
prepared and required by educational administrators in the municipality.
