The ageing of the world population is an incontestable fact. If, during much time, the time people spent working was their biggest reference in life, it occurs that in the XX century a new time became quite significant. The use of the available time in leisure activities became a part of the everyday life of the modern men, regardless of social class, sex and age. It was of special interest to present what led us to question the inclusion of intergenerationales interventions in the field of public politics of sport and leisure in the specific case of the Sport and Leisure Program of the City (SLPC) of the city of Santa Maria. A project that proposes to act in a intergenerational perspective, emancipatory, critical and creative in the construction of the relations and social and human practices, however it is not possible to effectively view the intergenerationality.
