dc.description.abstract | This research is focused on developing an approach for learning activities in a virtual learning environment employing Web 2.0. These activities are incorporated into the design of a course intended to contribute to the development of generic and specific competencies. Input from subject experts was utilized in developing the approach.
A pilot project was implemented and assessed in a Civil Engineering and Informatics course at the Universidad Católica de la Santísima Concepción. The approach was assessed through a developed guide to the most effective course design based on learning theories relating instructional design to learning outcomes. | |
