Resumen
The purpose of this article is to present a reflection relating historical knowledge to art/educator and knowledge of arts education for the historian/ educator. Utilizing some examples of the collection, display and educational work from Paulista Museum/USP, Sao Paulo / SP, Brazil, I try to develop some considerations about the different contexts involved in educational work in history museums. Sharing and relating the ideas of emancipation by Jacques Ranciere, and pedagogy of event by Dennis Atkinson, like as a action against the rhetoric of the certainties of History of Art starting from some considerations of Didi-Huberman, I seek to present possible situations into a reality of teaching and learning in history museums which take into account not only the context of production of the visual culture and its exhibition, but also the context of reception of these images.
