El papel de la migración rumana en la transformación de las relaciones internacionales entre España y Rumania. Periodo 2004-2012

Abstract

The current document studies the international relations between Spain and Romania in terms of romanians migration to Spain in the period 2004 – 2012. The study analyses the migratory precedents and links between Spain and Romania and the romanians migratory profile. At the same time, it describes the joining of Romania to the European Union and it also checks the complex integration of Romania to the community space and the controversial decisions made by Spain in this context. The evolution of the relations between Spain and Romania is a meaningful part to understand the different moments of their migratory relation; this evolution affected the integration process of these romanians immigrants, situation that reached its most difficult moment. Taking into account statistics and academicals data, the migratory nets were evaluated as a mechanism for the settlement of the romanians in Spain.
