The purpose of this study is to analyze proposed management strategies drawn and executed by the management of Club Campestre de Bucaramanga S.A to the crisis experienced by this organization in the late nineties, in the context of the abortive peace overtures between the government and the FARC that only left an atmosphere of mistrust and uncertainty among employers, workers and consumers in general.
The analysis of the strategies implemented by the Club will contribute to the compilation of a series of business lessons that will be enriched by the experience of the leaders who helped to make the mission of the company from this deep crisis, and the quantitative analysis and quality to be made of the instruments (interviews, statistics, financial analysis, etc). The goal is to consolidate a set of guidelines that both employers and management professionals or entrepreneurs can consult to implement actions that will lead to a high business performance and to avoid the morbidity of their companies, or in extreme cases, know how to rescue the bankruptcy.
Finally we will see how this company is facing desperate and reckless decision making that will generate an exorbitant financial embezzlement in addition to the already generated by the crisis, and in turn as a smart business management and business, the company quickly reappears attached to aid government (Ley 550 of 1999) and a series of moves that led to its raising, through the creation and improvement of products and services, differentiation, creation of specialized divisions within the company, reduced costs, etc. to become in recent years, into one of the most representative companies in eastern Colombia because of its administrative and financial turnaround and its social responsibility to its partners and employees, which is reflected in the opening of his own foundation in order to eradicate illiteracy, for now, among their staff.
