Procesos de expansión urbana en la ciudad colombiana. Efectos de la transformación del municipio de Chía (2002-2012)

Abstract

The interest of this study case is to analyze the transformation process of Chia, the urban expansion in Bogota and the migration of the city population in the period 2002-2012, based on three dimensions: the first, refers to the process of urban expansion in Bogota on the north side of the Savannah, taking into account the transformation of the municipality of Chia; the second, alludes to the mobility system, connectivity and quality of life, considering the population migration from Bogota to Chia, Cundinamarca; finally, it describes the changes made in the municipality of Chia from construction of new housing for families of high socio-economic levels, taking into account, of surveys to families Bogotá, resulting in qualitative and quantitative data of the transformation in the quality of life.
