Resumen
The mitral valve disease is highly prevalent in heart disease. With new diagnostic tools, improves the characterization of the mitral valve and three-dimensional echocardiography after esophageal has better information about mitral valve disease Main Objective Describe structural and anatomically the mitral valve and the measures and three-dimensional spatial relationships, in patients classified with normal valve compared with patients with mitral regurgitation, in studies using three-dimensional echocardiography Materials and Methods In this prospective case series with a mitral valve insufficient compared to normal Collection - Image after esophageal real-time 3D Analysis and image processing Three-Dimensional Reconstruction Getting the various anatomical structural measures to be used for the characterization of 3D mitral valve. Descriptive analysis It used frequency distribution and percentage distributions and the quantitative variables and measures of central tendency and dispersion measures of variability Results Were evaluated during the period between June 2008 and August 2009 a total of 113 patients, found clear differences in the structure of the shortcomings for prolapse. There was no difference in ischemic heart disease vs dilated Conclusion In the mitral prolapse provides data on the etiological identification either degenerative or disease fibroelastic Barlow. No significant difference in the framework to help characterize coronary artery disease vs dilated cardiomyopathy.
