dc.description.abstractJosé Gregorio Hernández is a medical / religious figure that brings together an important number of people in Bogotá, Venezuela and many other parts of this Latin American region. Healing is intermingled with religion as an interesting social and cultural phenomenon that is often naturalized in the popular medical and religious panorama. In this podcast we spoke with Laura Guerra, graduated from the anthropology program, who worked on her subject monograph and produced the text entitled "Patients-devotees: the relationship of medicine and religion in the worship of José Gregorio Hernández in Bogotá "
