The development of this research project, identify, consolidate, analyze economic data and the behavior of foreign trade of Colombia, Chile, Peru and Mexico in the evolution of the Aliana Pacífico Agreement during the years 2011-2013. The study will allow a more concrete view on the feasibility that this trading bloc represents for Colombia and will show which has been the country`s performance under the agreement based on exports and imports with other members of the alliance. Throughout the study, will be discussed the trade balance of the thirty-two (32) Colombian departments with members of the Alianza Pacifico agreement (Chile, Mexico and Peru) between 2011-2013. From the compilation and analysis of the quantitative and qualitative results as the value of exports and imports, a diagnosis is made of the behavior of the trade of the products by departments to and from Chile, Mexico and Peru. This analysis will allow us to identify which are the goods with the major exports and their participation in the commercial transactions of the Alianza Pacifico agreement. Based on the data collected, it will be possible to analyze the situation and the role of Colombia currently within the agreement and so well identify opportunities, weaknesses and possible consequences resulting from the signing of this treaty. Finally, this research seeks to initiate the Observatory of the Alianza Pacifico agreement, which will be created for research purposes, facilitating follow the evolution of this agreement. Through the observatory will be possible to know what have been the behaviors in the economic field such as trade balance, foreign investment, mobility, etc. , of this block integration. Additionally, it will be possible to view and analyze the behavior of the main economic sectors and the departments involved in this process, in commercial terms.
