Abstract

The present report is a compilation of data that form a baseline on forms of physical, verbal and psychological aggression among students of Cycle Three of the Colegio Comuneros - Oswaldo Guayasamín, site B, tomorrow morning; The term naturalization is applied to describe the high degree of acceptance of aggressive behaviors in daily school life, specify causes and actors involved in them and spaces where they happen. To collect the baseline, data collection was carried out through ethnographic techniques such as the application of surveys to the students of the cycle, direct observation of their behavior in class and rest spaces and participant observation in classes and In projects other than classes; In addition to this, institutional documents containing records on situations of aggression among students and on how the institution reacts to them were reviewed. The results of the collection of information for the baseline confirm the naturalized presence of the aggression in the institution, within the particularities of its context, providing sufficient material to suggest lines of action to be taken into account for the design of directed institutional responses to intervene the problem in mention.
