In the last decades the world of labor has passed through profound transformations, as a result of incorporating a workforce differentiated by diversity. Under this perspective, the active binding of women as a labor force is being given in huge steps, but far away of equal opportunities. One of the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) models refers to human rights respect and the control of employment standards. In this context, equal employment opportunities have a privileged place. The CSR principles stated by Global Compact, which are not obliging, are based on agreements, recommendations and laws that try to guarantee the equal employment opportunities in the work environment. This article is an analysis of the CSR model that seeks to point out some elements that go beyond an altruistic character.
